Access to education is one of Africa’s most significant issues as millions of children either have no access to education or attend schools that lack basic toilets, classrooms, etc. Our organization plans to support deprived children by improving their schools, building classrooms and toilets and providing drinking water and recreation facilities. Informal education and vocational training are also ways to improve peoples’ lives and increase their income and fight poverty and vulnerability. So WINGSS is also planning to establish a vocational training centre in Al Fasher, North Darfur State, to train women from the neighbouring refugee camps to support their families by learning new trades and skills. Our plan also includes establishing other Vocational Training and Capacity Building Centres in Khartoum and other cities in Sudan. The training Centers’ purpose is to train people, especially young adults and homeless children, in Plumbing, Electrical installations and Wiring and Building/Construction Skills.
